When we fly balloons

Our meeting times vary depending on the time of year:

For safety reasons, we won't fly:

if the ridge top winds are over 30 mph
if there's any precipitation (rain, snow)
if there is lightning within 100 miles
smoke (low visibility)

If it's not good, we don't go.

It's better to be down here wishing you were up there, than to be up there wishing you were down here.
