If you're vacationing in the Reno/Tahoe area, we strongly suggest you rent a car and plan at least one day to just "putz" around. There are lots of "off the beaten path" places to stop and visit in this part of the world, especially if you're NOT in a hurry to get anywhere!
After your balloon ride, you'll realize that the day is still young! There is plenty of time to play 18 holes, ski a half day, have a nice breakfast, or stop somewhere in the tall pines and have a picnic with your sweety.
