Hot Air Balloon Ride Policies
Our personal hot air balloon rides include:
- At least one hour in the air (please allow 3 hours)
- The most experienced pilot & crew in the area (owner/operator)
- Cleanest and most well maintained equipment
- Complementary post-flight ceremony
- Personalized Flight certificate

Deposits
- Reservations are required and are based on availability. All reservations require a credit card guarantee to secure your space. Balloon Nevada accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards as well as PayPal for secure online purchasing.
- There are no charges made to credit cards until after the flight has been completed!* At that time, you may pay any way you wish (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash, local check).
* Full fares are charged for failure to show up for scheduled flight.
Gift Certificates
Private Flight Gift Certificates are available, and are valid any time of year... NO restrictions. These certificates can be mailed anywhere or picked up in person. The recipient may then schedule the ride at their convenience. Gift certificates make an excellent incentive or thank you gift, or any occasion such as Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or Weddings, and will be remembered far longer than an expensive dinner! Passenger Information
- You must meet and check-in at the predetermined time.
- Every passenger must be able to step up/climb into the basket
- Please let us know if there is anyone who weighs more than 230 lbs. in your party at the time of booking. (Please be honest as we don't "charge by the pound.")
- For insurance purposes, all passengers are required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Personal Responsibility form (available as PDF).
Restrictions
- Pregnant women, or women that may be pregnant may NOT fly. No exceptions.
- Anyone with back, knee or hip problems, or has had recent surgery, or can't stand up for at least an hour may NOT fly.
- Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Cancellations
- Please give us at least 48 hours notice for cancellations and/or rescheduling so that we may try to fill the space, or forfeit the 50% deposit.
- Cancellations must be done by telephone – 775-790-7572.
- If you do not show up for the pre-flight briefing or miss your flight we will charge the credit card we have on file 100% for your flight.
- Your flight may be canceled by our pilot on the day of the flight for weather or any safety concerns by the pilot. Pilot decision is FINAL.
- Should the scheduled flight be cancelled due to weather or our inability to complete the flight, you will have the option to reschedule.
